Target audience

From the questionnaire i created i have decided that my magazine will target the Rhythm, blues, classical and jazz audience. without further anticipation i knew that the name of my magazine would be THE SQUARE mainly because of the fact that my magazine will be targeting 4 different music groups in which two are the same.
the institution that will be promoting my magazine because of its nature and style -Classic R&B - is the BBC, especially because they already have a magazine called music targeting classical audience.
The aim which I have given myself in my task is to produce an original music magazine aimed at both male and female teenagers to adults. The main genre of music for this magazine I decided would be Rhythm, blues, classical and jazz; usually displaying a multiple number of band members from the four group’s daily/weekly.
For the research of this magazine I soon will be creating I will have gathered information from the society and school.
I have looked at a multiple amount of popular music magazines and took ideas on how they seem to have become popular and how they could stand out against competing magazines of the same kind and oppositions.
I compared them against each other and noted down the differences, so that this would help me come up with some differences so I could make my magazine stand out.
From my research of the magazines, as usual I was able to find out that the front cover were needed to be bold , large and recognizable, as with any other magazine that you can find on a shop shelf/ internet.
