1. How did you attract/address your audience?
By the formatting within the magazine, bright colours and internet link, young faces, characters gender, scenery, text. The format is relatively simple so both sex should still have no negative effect upon this feature the background shows elegance and is quite a sophisticated to attract the older audience but this is accompanied by extremely bright colours to attract the young audience also though the main page is filled with images of girls the articles show that males are also the audience.
AS media blog..wish me the best!

1. Who would be the audience for your media product?
The target audience for my magazine is very obvious, adults, adolescents of both genders (male & female) from the ages 14-20+ of a social tribe of both jazz or classical groups & rnb groups; it is made clear in my magazine by its content effects and also because of the level of literacy within the article and for the younger audience as an alternative source of information if failing to comprehend or gain interest an internet link is stated within the front page.
The audience within the magazine are supposedly from the age of 16 + making both age groups gain interest because of feeling of relation, also with the range of colours both audience are also attracted.

1. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
National magazine company as they do not have a music magazine and target mostly fashion and beauty, accepting my magazine would be a chance to target the audience as well as widening the range of audience, there magazines as well as mine target young adults and adults.
Titan magazines also for similar reasons but understand this is a film magazine, it is unusual that I have picked these rather than just selecting the more identifiable company’s like ipc media but I found that most jazz magazines are self distributors.
But as my magazine includes RNB it could be distributed by companies that hold similar qualities such as..Vibe magazine, though like most of Quincy Jones magazines blacks are priority this not so in my magazine but our audience is similar and too targets the urban group.

1. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
My magazine targets 2 different similar groups of people….
• Jazz/ classical music. Within the characters wear, for example the casual wear seen in the front page and the jewellery as well as the feminine attire and hairstyle which is very sophisticated and neat and the class exposed through the posture… this changed within the article to something for relaxing to attract the other audience/ relate to them and to show young adults feeling of connection. The character within the bottom of the page is very serious and this relates to the adult themes. Though the background of the pages can seem quite boring there are bright colours that explode out and will be a big wow to the young audience.
• And the RnB through the contents page where the character is quite hip and is actually close to the audience even though in a jazz/ classical music set and this is only seen in concerts when the singers associate with the audience with physical interaction as seen and also the very fun effect all around the magazine from the invisible ribbon which is almost like a halo around the stars and the bubble transition. The characters on the front page at both sides of the main text are very colour full and within the contents page are in very exotic locations/ bright sets. The website of the magazine can be see and it is evident that young teems lurk around the internet much more than an older audience so this is a big booster. In the contents page the background is red and red is usually an alerting colour which young teens are attracted to. this may be a steryotype but young teens do not love to read as much as a megority and so within the article the interesting areas/ qotes are highlighted in a blue tint.
